The SOS Survival course to learn all the important survival techniques. During this week, all things are taught on a material and spiritual level that are necessary to live in nature for 2-3 weeks without artificial aids. This course is the basis for all SOS courses including winter courses. In this course we will not go on long hikes, but use the time intensively to learn as much as possible in a few days: the participants can sleep in tents/lawn brought along, we feed ourselves from food brought along. The whole field of knowledge is enormous and we do not expect you to master everything from the beginning. For this, today's man, as well as the man living in the stone age, needs a whole life. Everyone can experience everything learned later in his own rhythm, with his own limits.

warme, wasserdichte, aus nicht lebenden Naturmaterialien gebaute Unterkunft

  • we will build a shelter that is waterproof and warm without tent & sleeping bag.

  • we will get to know wild plants that can feed us sufficiently for the foreseeable future This includes salad and vegetable plants, spice production, tea and plants for smoking/smudges

  • we find out where water can be found, see if it is drinkable and if it can be purified

  • how a fire is lit without artificial aids; 100 applications around the fire.

  • how to read traces, interpretations and sequences of prints. Techniques of wiping traces.

  • About 1/5 of the time we will train our senses, and awaken the human instinct for extended attention.

  • we learn how Stone Age survival skills can be successfully applied in the civilized world.
